Three Outfits in One: Fall Transition

September 11, 2018

Ahhhh it’s fall! Can you smell the Pumkin Spice? It’s my favorite time of year. Transitioning into fall from your summer wardrobe can be a bit tricky, so today I’m going to show you how to transition a few of your wardrobe staples into fall with pizazz.

I took a little shopping field trip to H&M and was on the hunt for fall transition pieces. I had fun layering, mixing, matching and accessorizing and I did it without breaking the bank. That’s what I love so much about shopping at H&M.

For this fall transition, I paired H&M’s Dressy Leggings with a few fall layering pieces to spice up the basic black pant. This particular legging is currently only available in store at the moment but I’m hoping they will add it to their online store soon.

The base of this look is sleek and all black. It’s a basic, black knit tank and the leggings. This is an easy foundation to dress up or dress down. You can add some dramatic jewelry to this look and wear it to dinner or a show.

Spice it up with a Cardigan

I love a good cardigan. Especially one that’s colorful. This striped wonder is the fine knit cardigan in light blue/striped. It’s lightweight, classic and flows beautifully as you move throughout your day. It’s a must have piece for the fall wardrobe. You can wear this look to work and then rock it out on the town for dinner with the option of dropping the cardi and wearing it as it’s shown in the look above.

Warm it up with a Cozy Sweater

Up next is a cozy yellow knit sweater. This is a great piece that you can throw on over the black tank and it warms everything up. As the year draws to a close, temps start dropping so throwing a cute sweater over your basic tank and leggings is the perfect way to stay warm. Change out the heels for some booties and you’re set!

Time to go shopping ladies! Are you ready for fall? Keep the layering pieces in mind as you create your new fall wardrobe. You can also shop this look right here. Now, I’m off to find a pumpkin spice latte and Halloween decor.

xoxo, Lesa
